Kanye West Disses “Suit & Tie” and Grammys
Kanye West performed in London at the Hammersmith Apollo where he made few comments about the Grammys, President Obama, Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z’s “Suit & Tie” and more.
During his rant, he said of the Jay-Z featured track, “I got love for Hov, but I aint f-cking with that ‘Suit & Tie.” Before I analyse Kanye’s emotions, here’s the highlight (rant) from footage below:
4:15 – “I hate business people.”
5:25 – “Since when was making music about getting rich?”
6:00 – “The Grammys could suck my d*ck.”
6:12 – “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f*ckin’ with that ‘Suit & Tie.”
6:40 – “Every rapper always rappin’ ’bout f*ckin’ someone else’s b*tch.”
7:33 – “Real n*ggas don’t live too long in this sh*t.”
8:03 – “I lost my motherf*ckin’ momma, so I don’t give a f*ck about your comments.”
8:15 – “We’re all gonna die one day, so I’ma live my life my way.”
8:25 – “Can I sell your drink for you, please? So you can help me put on a better show, please, corporations? Can you please support me, please? Me, Kanye West? I swear I’m a nice n*gga now. I swear I’ll put the pink Polo back on.”
9:25 – “What is my public rating right now? Are people liking me again?”
9:36 – “They forgot about the whole ‘Beyonce thing’ right? Okay, cool.”
Firstly, we all know last year was all about “The Throne” (Jay-z & Kanye); joint album, platinum records, shows, awards et al. But now 2013, someone — a white guy has somewhat replaced Kanye’s spot. They are even going on tour “Legends of The Summer”. Kanye loves music more than anything, even Kim. Now his best friend in music has been snatched on business level.
Ye’s ex, Amber Rose just gave birth to baby boy — we all know how Kanye feels about the Wiz Khalifa – Amber relationship. Kanye is about to have a daddy responsibility as well. Since Ye’s appearance on the Kardashians’ reality show, things have not been positive for the rapper. Times are hard. Jay, your boy is hurting. Show some love.
