According to a research on the Hogg Robinson Group website, hotels in Lagos have been ranked as the second most expensive in the world.

With an average room rate of £217.05 (N53,267). Topping the rate is Moscow, the Russian capital, with the highest hotel rates, an average of £258.11 (N63, 331), and in the third place after Lagos is Geneva with average hotel rates of £215.92 (N52,776).
